Vehicle Delivery Process And Requirements

Payment Information

Payment Information

To assist in a smooth and efficient delivery of your vehicle, please ensure you arrange final payment via one of the following, prior to the Delivery date;


  • Bank Cheque made payable to "Volvo Cars Lindfield" to be presented on the day of delivery
  • Personal Cheques: Funds must clear in account before the day of delivery
  • EFT Direct Transfer – the transfer must be made 48 hours prior to delivery day
    Please note that our bank account details will not change during the course of a transaction and we will not notify you of any changes to our bank details via email. Always independently confirm bank accoun.t details and transfer instructions with us in person or via a telephone call to a trusted and verified phone number
  • Credit Card – please note the Dealer reserves the right to pass on any applicable transaction fee. Please refer to our Business Manager for the current fee structure
Finance

Finance

If you are arranging Finance through our Dealership, please bring the following information on the day of delivery;


  • Your Driver’s license
  • 2nd form of ID e.g. Medicare Card
  • Confirmation of Income, either:
    • 3 x Payslips (recent) and/or
    • Tax Return
  • Bank Account Details for Direct Debit deductions
  • Confirmation of Residence, either:
    • Rate Notice
    • Rent Receipt
    • Accommodation Letter
Trade In

Trade In

If you are trading in your vehicle, please provide the following;


  • Current Registration Papers
  • All spare keys/remotes
  • Service Books and Manuals
  • Any items you may have removed from the vehicle, e.g. headrests, 3rd row seats, Cargo blind
  • If the traded vehicle is currently registered or owned by a business we require a Tax Invoice for the trade-in value (incl GST). Please date the invoice as the Delivery date and address the invoice to:
    • Volvo Cars Lindfield
    • ABN
    • Address
  • If there is a payout to a finance company, please provide a current confirmation letter of payout details from the Finance company

  • If you are purchasing a vehicle under a company name, we do require an RMS customer number prior to delivery. This form can be downloaded here: https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-customer-number-transport-nsw-organisations
  • Please allow at least an 1-2 hours for delivery and completion of all paperwork on the day
  • Please bring along your mobile phone so that we can help you set up the Bluetooth functionality (if applicable). If you have a google account please bring your username and password so our team can set up the Volvo App and the in car google system
